Happy New Year
[this post was supposed to be dated 30 Jan but I was too lazy to complete it]
First and foremost, Happy new year!!! This is my favourite festive season of the year. Can collect many many angbaos, no need to go for work or school for so many days, lots and lots of snacks, goodies and pastries, tons of seafood delicacies, gambling gambling and more gambling!!!
I have been like sleeping after the sun rises for the past few days. And I have been catching movies like a record breaking movie marathon for the past few days.
Friday: Went to see a doctor at the polyclinic concerning my persistent tummyache which like occurs every evening. But apparently the doctor cannot find out what's wrong with my body. Then caught the movie Cheaper by the dozen 2 before rushing down to work.
Saturday: Did the last minute shopping with Hui and bought a pretty pair of heels that bites and headed home and concussed back to bed, waking up at only 8 in the evening to have the reunion dinner. Sneaked out after the dinner with Hui, Xiang, Elle and Keave to River Hongbao to catch the fireworks. I love fireworks. They are always so pretty, colourful and spectacular. Actually planned to play pool with them after the fireworks but I backed out after we reach Selegie caused I wasn't in the mood for pool ( I am lousy with pool can) and went for movie instead. Watched I not stupid too.
Sunday: Woke up at 2 plus by my Dad and Mum's constant screaming. My Mum was so pissed off by me that she went off to my Ah ma's place first leaving my poor Dad to wait for me. Was really bored there caused there was no blackjack or mahjong. So I was such a good girl to sit down and watched TV. But TV could not sustain my itchness for long and I went River Hongbao and caught a movie again. Have fun with Dick and Jane.
Monday: Went to Elle's mum place for house visiting. I sat down for only awhile before I started persuading people to play mahjong.
*laughs* Then proceeded on to Keave's aunt house. His aunt's cooking is fab!!! But the place was freaking far. Taman Jurong. I almost sat till I puke in the car. We stayed there for only 15 mins before sneaking away to Hui's house. The most anticipated place for the day. Mahjong commenced soon after our arrival and ended at 7 plus in the morning. I won money.
*So happy*Tuesday: Out with that boy for the whole day. Playing game in the arcarde, ate Teppanyaki
*my favourite* and he caught a baby Mickey Mouse plush for me. At night was mahjong at hui's house again. Lost abit this time. Went home and drop dead in bed at 7.
Wednesday: Lunch with the heartys. Elle, Hui and Fen. I have not seen Fen for several months. Actually planned to have a nice meal near China Square but that restaurant went out of pasta!!! So poor us walked around the whole place and all the restaurants were closed and only to be opened in the evening. Took a cab to Gallery Hotel. Wanted to settle our meal at their restaurant intially. But it was closed for a private function. How unlucky. Then we carried our tired legs and walked all the way to Clark Quay. Finally decided to settle for Hooters. Their main course serving was so huge. Me and Hui ordered one main course each and gave each other half of our portion. By the time we finish that half, it was already too full for us to eat anything. So that extra course was packet and and I passed it to that boy. Everyone went back home after the late lunch and Hui had to go to her aunt's house for dinner before metting me again for Mambo. So I went to accompany that boy till Hui arrived, together with Mr Tay. And off we go for Mambo!!! Hui and Mr Tay had to go at 2 coz he had a morning class to attend. So I joined Alan they all after the two of them left. Alan and I and the rest left at 2 plus and wanted to go to the petrol kiosk for a drink. Saw Phyllis outside Zouk. She was about to went in. Dragged me along to join her. At that time I as in such a dilemma. To join Phyllis or to join the rest for a drink. Both sides kept pressing me for an answer. So I decided to join Alan for drink first before going back to find Phyllis. Alan and gang wanted to have supper at Tanglin Halt and it was so far away from my house thus it tured me off.
*plus Phyllis' friend was able to send me back and I can save cab fare**evil laughs*Thursday: Struggled up for lesson and everything was back to my normal lifestyle.
Friday: Went to catch My Kungfu Sweetheart and went to work.
