Tioman is super fun!!! This is my second time there. 1st time was 3 years back when Noelle went there to take her wedding shoot. Nothing much changes. The shops are still the same, chalets still look the same, and the people there are still as friendly. Went with my baby to celebrate his birthday. This is our first trip together, I mean just the 2 of us. And he likes it there alot too.
We took almost a 9 hour there. Coach took an hour to reach checkpoint, another 3 hour to the jetty, and we waited 2hour at the jetty for the ferry, and then a one and a half hour ferry trip to reach Tioman. It was drizzling quite badly when we reached. Sort of dampened our mood and both of us were praying that the rain better stop quickly. Furthermore it was low tide when we reached, and the beach looked so ugly, so the boy asked me: "So this is so called beautiful trip ar?" But the next day proved him wrong.
We can't do much for the first day so this was what we did.
We checked in...

And we went to the nearby food stall to have a light bite and went to buy same snacks and drinks so that we can munch at night. (No pic avail)
Soon after...

We had our dinner. Rather wide spread as you can see.
Then we took some stroll along the pavement trying to explore a little but the rain forced us back to the chalet. And so having nothing to do, the boy

eat and eat and eat. NON STOP. And he is still so skinny!!! It is just so unfair.
After that we tried going fishing, but the sea was to choppy that we had to forsake the plan. So we went back to our 4-day home to catch Miss Congenality at HBO.
We woke up at 8am in the morning for breakfast. And their buffet breakfast was very simple, but super tasty, esp the fried noodle!

Then we saw something funny along the way.

And true enough, during the later part of the day, we witnessed coconut falling with a loud thud! so scary!!!
Ww went rockfall and on the way there, I saw a crab on the pavement.

And at the rock fall...

The water was freezing cold and my baby was so scared of the cold water.

After that we went to our small little island. It is actually a tiny island off the coast of the paya beach, and you can literally walk there when it is low tide. (Which was what we did) And both of us love it there. Coz you have the whole island to your own and it feels like there is only the 2 of us in the whole world. Detached but the feeling was damn shiok.

We still played hopscotch there using big seashells.
While we were returning back to the main island, we saw 2 gigantic seashells. I attempted to make him carry it but it was fucking heavy that I could not even lift it up using my 2 hands.

Then we sun tanned for an hour and I prepared a pleasant birthday surprise for him. I collected the cake from the hotel reception while he was bathing. the cake that I have already ordered pre-hand. I kept telling him that I did not prepare anything for him and I did not have time to buy him any present. And he was a little disappointed at first. Haha.

He simply look like a little boy celebrating his birthday in this photo.

After the cake cutting ceremony we went for a no-fish-caught fishing trip and then spa treatment. Didn't take any spa photo as our treatments were carried out at the same time.

Can see that I was already badly burnt.

And we saw these 2 moniter lizards through the window. One was big and another one enormously gigantic. The latter one has the size of a crocodile. Yes it's that huge. So amazing.
I shall continue with the rest of the trip after I have uploaded the rest of the photos to photobucket. Too many photos to upload and it takes damn long.
